Julie E. Furman Stodolka

            Ms. Stodolka’s entire professional experience has been in insolvency.  She worked in the Bankruptcy Department of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton in San Diego before clerking for three years for the Honorable Joseph W. Hedrick Jr., in the Modesto Division of the Eastern District of California from 1988 - 1991. 

            In 1991 she became an Associate member of the Bankruptcy Department of Allen, Polgar, Proietti & Fagalde in Merced, California.  Her specialty was representation of Trustees including several hotly contested Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 Trustee/Liquidating Agent cases.  In 1995, Ms. Stodolka opened her own office in Merced, California representing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 debtors, preference defendants and a Creditors Committee in a difficult Chapter 11 reorganization.

            She relocated to Wisconsin in 2006 and represented Chapter 11 debtors and creditors as an Associate of Kerkman & Dunn in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 2006 through 2008. Ms. Stodolka currently represents debtors in Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 12 farm reorganizations, Chapter 7 liquidations and Chapter 13 repayment plans.
